Millard M. Foley, 77, of Gallipolis, Ohio passed away on Friday, December 7, 2007 at the Holzer Medical Center Emergency Room in Jackson, Ohio. Millard was born on March 9, 1930 in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky to the late Morgan and Jennie Hinson Foley. He was a retired Frito-Lay salesman having 19 years of service, and also retired from the Gallipolis City Schools with 20 plus years as a school bus driver. Millard served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints where he had served as High Priest. Millard is survived by his wife Attie Bentley Foley whom he married on September 21, 1957 in Indiana. He is also survived by his children, Jean Tom Williams of Georgetown, Ky, James Hammonds of Gallipolis, Bill Julie Foley of Columbus, Kim Jackson, John Foley both of Bidwell, and Jennie Foley and Dina Foley both of Gallipolis; a daughter-in-law Lisa Foley of Gallipolis; grandchildren Scott Foley, Valerie Sewell, Vera McGill, Deacon Hammonds, Nikki Foley, Sam Foley, Wesley Jackson, Sean Jackson, John Nickinsky, Kelly Foley, Mark Foley, Codie Hall, Charlee Eblin, and Blade Eblin; 3 great granddaughters including a special great granddaughter Anna Sewell. Millard was preceded in death by a son James Dee Foley, a granddaughter Erin Foley and by a daughter-in-law Linda Hammonds, and by two brothers. Funeral services will be 1:30 pm Tuesday December 11, 2007 at Willis Funeral Home with Speaker Kenneth Vickers officiating. Burial will follow in Mound Hill Cemetery.
