Monna B. Lynch

Monna B. Lynch, 100, Thurman, Ohio passed away on Friday, June 27, 2014 at the Four Winds Community in Jackson, Ohio. She was born on February 22, 1914 in Gilmer County, West Virginia, daughter of the late Samuel Curtis and Stada Pearl Winemiller Beckett. Monna was retired from G.C. Murphy and was a former school teacher. Monna was a member of the Thurman United Methodist Church. She was married to Edward Herman Lynch, Sr. on April 29, 1935 in Glenville, WV and he preceded her in death on January 18, 1994. She was also preceded in death by a son Edward Herman Lynch, Jr. in 2004 and by a brother and two sisters. Surviving are two sons William (Carole) Lynch of Alexandria, Virginia and Jon (Gaynelle) Lynch of Gallipolis, 7 Grandchildren, 8 Great Grandchildren, and 2 Great-Great Grandchildren. Graveside services will be 11:30 am Monday, June 30, 2014 at Old Pine Cemetery, near Rio Grande, with Pastor John Rozewicz officiating. There will not be any calling hours.
