Nellie Rose Cline Mitchell

Nellie Rose Cline Mitchell, 81, of Cheshire, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on Friday, April 1, 2011 at the Holzer Medical Center. Nellie was born on January 28, 1930 in Mineral Wells, West Virginia, daughter of the late Hunter and Elizabeth Anderson Cline. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three sisters, Virginia, Ruthie and Elizabeth. Nellie was a waitress for the original Bob Evans Restaurant in Gallipolis, and later worked at the Holzer Medical Center as a certified operating room technician retiring after 32 years of service. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by her husband of thirty years, Ray Mitchell of Cheshire, whom she married on December 26, 1980. Five children Ronald (Jenny Jo) Huffman of Gallipolis, Beverly (Jimmy) Gray of Oak Hill, Ohio, Pam Mitchell of Kent, Ohio, Bob Mitchell of Bidwell, and Teresa (Mike) Bell of Bainbridge, Ohio; 18 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren whom she loved dearly; one sister Florence Butcher of Ravenswood, West Virginia. Funeral services will be 1:30 pm Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at Willis Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Patterson officiating. Burial will follow in the Ohio Valley Memory Gardens.
