Neva Idell Sanders Fowler

Neva Idell Sanders Fowler, 82, of Gallipolis passed away on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at Holzer Medical Center in Gallipolis. Born on January 20, 1937 in Springfield, Ohio, Idell was the daughter of the late Meriett F. and Violet Pauline Fry Sanders. Idell was married to Elmer Fowler, who preceded her in death on March 9, 2008. She was a member of Elizabeth Chapel Church. Idell was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking and sewing. Idell is survived by her son, Terry Sanders of Gallipolis; grandson, Justin (Brandy) Sanders of Crown City; two great grandchildren, Marshall and Anthony; sisters, Carolyn Beaver of Mercerville, Jeannie (Hollis) Watson of Thurman, and Jackie Sanders of Gallipolis; brothers, Merrill (Judy) Sanders of Ironton and John (Sharon) Sanders of Gallipolis; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Idell was preceded in death by her brother, Clyde Sanders and sisters, Shirley Watson and Sharon Church. The funeral service for Idell will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 5, 2019 at Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Randy Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in Providence Cemetery.
