Nora Glover, 92, of Gallipolis, passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at the Holzer Medical Center. She was born March 6, 1921 in Brent, Kentucky, daughter of the late John and Rowena Rose Hall Bush. Nora was married to Samuel Glover and he preceded her in death on April 30, 1973. She worked at Holzer Hospital in housekeeping and also at Christy Ann Restaurant in the kitchen as a cook. Nora was a member of the Church of Christ in Christian Union. She enjoyed traveling, Bible reading and family time. Surviving are her seven daughters, Doris Martyn, Wanda Marchi, Carolyn Johnson, Linda Newell, Brenda Smith, Judy (Paul) Byus, all of Gallipolis, and Cathy (William) Rotert of Circleville, Ohio; four sons, David Glover of Gallipolis, John (Teresa) Glover of Richmond, Virginia, Chuck (Diana) Glover of Daytona Beach, Florida, and Mike Glover of Gallipolis; 33 grandchildren; 51 great grandchildren; and 13 great great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Samuel Glover, Nora was preceded in death by a stillborn daughter Debbie, two granddaughters, Vanessa Halley and Jackie Leach, one grandson, Tommy Angel, two brothers, Charles and David and two sisters, Ruby and Ethel. Services will be 3:00 p.m., Sunday, May 5, 2013 at the Church of Christ in Christian Union, Gallipolis with Pastor Robert Isaacs officiating. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Providence Cemetery. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Saturday, May 4, 2013 at the Willis Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Oley Angel, Samuel Newell, Eddie Rowley, Jason Smith, Rodney Byus, John Tyler Byus, Joey Syrus and Ryan Glover. Honorary pallbearers will be Danny Martyn, Dennis Martyn, Keith Martyn,Scott Marchi and Matt Glover.
