Orval R. "Bud" Mcmasters

Orval R. “Bud” McMasters, 86, of Mount Gilead, Ohio, passed away on Monday, November 18, 2024 at his residence.

Bud was born on October 28, 1938 in Hundred, West Virginia, son of the late Allie and Cora McMasters. He married Shirley Ann Hineman McMasters, who preceded him in death on January 12, 2022.  Bud was a surveyor and welder for Industrial Fabricators.

Bud is survived by his son, Steve (Debbie) McMasters of Hilliard, Ohio; granddaughters, Melissa Dunn of London, Ohio and Angela Morey of Columbus, Ohio; grandsons, Shaun (Carrie) Dunn of Columbus, Ohio and Jeffrey Morey (Lisa) of Columbus, Ohio; great grandchildren, Hailey Dunn, Kayleah Dunn, Emma Dunn, Mathias Young, Kierra Young, Cayden Morey, and Cason Morey; sister, Wilmagene McMasters of Hundred, West Virginia; and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, Bud was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

The funeral service for Bud will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 30, 2024 at Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Richard Unroe officiating.  Burial will follow in Ridgelawn Cemetery.  Friends and family may call prior to the service Saturday from 12:00-1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
