Orval Scot Sword, 50, of Patriot, Ohio passed away on July 6, 2021. He was born on May 9, 1971 in Gallipolis, Ohio to Lee and Doris Sword. Scott joined the armed forces, U.S. Army, and served his country in Desert Storm. Scott was preceded in death by his father, Lee Sword; brother, Alan Sword; daughter, Mariah Sword; and brother-in-law, Michael Crites. He is survived by daughters, Harley and Savannah Sword; mother, Doris Sword; brothers and sisters, Beverly Crites, Carl Sword, Diane (Larry) Steele, Lucky Sword, and Lesa (John) Smith; and many nieces and nephews.
