Paul Bevins

Paul Bevins, 75, of Bidwell, passed away on Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at his residence. He was born March 4, 1934 in Charley, Kentucky, son of the late Dave and Grace Lyons Bevins. He was a mechanic and truck driver. Paul enjoyed working on motors and mechanical things. Surviving is his long time companion, Patricia A. Harrison Bevins of Bidwell; two daughters, Brenda J. Johnston of Kernersville, NC and Tonia Jr. Mitchell of McCurdysville, WV; three sons, Homer P. Bevins of Kernersville, NC, John R. Bevins of Columbus, Ohio and Brian C. Bevins of Bidwell; thirteen grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one stepsister and two stepbrothers. Paul was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Dottie in 1987, two brothers, four sisters, and two half sisters. Services will be 10 a.m., Sunday, December 13, 2009 at the Willis Funeral Home with Minister Larry Drummond officiating. Interment will be 3:30 p.m. Sunday at the McCurdysville Cemetery in McCurdysville, WV.
