Paul R. Rucker

Paul R. Rucker, 86, of Gallipolis, passed away on Sunday, January 11, 2009 at the Holzer Senior Care Center. He was born June 19, 1922 in Gallia County, son of the late Raymond R. and Emma Brown Rucker. Paul attended the First Church of the Nazarene and was retired from Gallipolis Developmental Center. He was a World War II Army veteran. Surviving are a daughter, Paula J. Ken Harris and a son, Terry J. Peggy Rucker, both of Gallipolis; four grandchildren, Jason Gretta Harris of Gallipolis, Chris Brent Love of Oak Hill, Jodie Joe Fronczek of Cincinnati and David Melissa Rucker of Wheelersburg; and seven great grandchildren, Casey, Kyle, Nicole, Allyson, Lexie, Braylon and Adrienne. Paul was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Eileen Ball. Services were held at the Willis Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 13, 2009 with Pastor Eugene Harmon officiating.
