Phil Eugene Shaffer

Phil Eugene Shaffer, 46, of Columbus, Ohio, formerly of Gallia County, passed away on Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at Mt. Carmel West Hospital, Columbus. He was born October 20, 1964 in Gallipolis, Ohio, son of the late Darrell and Elsie L. Dickey Shaffer. Surviving are his brother, Richard (Charlotte) Shaffer of Crown City; his sister, Debra (John) Hampson of Lancaster; two aunts, Audrey Angel of Gallipolis and Janice Barrows of Athens; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Jack, John and Dean Shaffer. Services will be 1:00 p.m., Sunday, February 6, 2011 at the Willis Funeral Home with Rev. Matthew Henry officiating. Burial will follow in Swan Creek Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 12-1 p.m. on Sunday.
