Phillip D. Allie, 57, of Gallipolis, passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2011 at Holzer Medical Center. He was born February 22, 1954 in Gallipolis, son of the late Walter E. Allie and Mary Phillips Allie, who survives him. Phillip was married to Mindy Frazier and she also survives him. He was a retired press operator at Goodyear, Jackson, Ohio. Phillip was a member of First Church of the Nazarene, Gallipolis, where he was a Sunday School teacher. He hosted the Gallia County Gospel Sing, was an active member of the Jaycees, an avid hunter and loved the outdoors. Surviving are his wife, Mindy Allie of Gallipolis; a son, Adam (Karen) Allie of Georgetown, Kentucky; two daughters, Melissa (Richard) Huffman and Elizabeth Beth Allie, both of Gallipolis; five grandchildren, Ashlee, R.J., Caleb, Rehma and Daniel; his mother, Mary Allie of Gallipolis; a brother, Thomas E. (Carol Sue) Allie of Chillicothe; and a nephew, Jason (Amy) Allie of Chillicothe. Services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 16, 2011 at the Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Grizzard officiating. Burial will follow in Centenary Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, July 15, 2011 from 6-8 p.m. Cemetery: Centenary Cemetery Visitation: Willis Funeral Home, Friday, July 15, 2011 6-8 p.m. Service: Willis Funeral Home, Saturday, July 16, 2011 2:00 p.m.
