Phyllis A. Carroll

Phyllis A. Carroll, 88, of Bidwell, Ohio passed away on Friday, April 1, 2022 surrounded by her family. Phyllis was born on February 13, 1934 in Gallia County, Ohio, daughter of the late John L. and Adelphia Stover Broyles. Phyllis had worked at the Speed Queen Laundromat in Gallipolis. She enjoyed doing word searches and collecting. Phyllis was married to Wade C. Carroll, Sr.; and he preceded her in death on April 9, 2002. She is survived by two daughters, Deborah Lynn Gillenwater of Bidwell and Kim (John) Neville of Gallipolis and by two sons Wade C. (Elise) Carroll, Jr. of Gallipolis and Ricky (Christina) Carroll of Gallipolis; one sister, Garnet Hurlow of Groveport, Ohio; eight grandchildren; and nineteen great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Phyllis was preceded in death by a daughter, Charlotte Fern Mullins; three grandchildren, Shannon Gillenwater, Jamie Gillenwater, and Dustin Mullins; and two brothers, John Broyles and Larry Broyles. The funeral service for Phyllis will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, April 4, 2022 at Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Thom Mollohan officiating. Her burial will follow in Reynolds Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Scott Queen, Ronald Saunders, Brady Carroll, Logan Carroll, Aaron Carroll, and Breanna Neville; honorary pallbearers will be John Neville and Wade C. Carroll, Jr.
