Pluma M. Call, 87, of Crown City, passed away on Thursday, January 20, 2011 at her residence. She was born on October 18, 1923 in Gallia County, Ohio, daughter of the late John and Mary Waugh Smith. Pluma was married to Earl Call and he preceded her in death on April 15, 2002. She was a homemaker. Surviving her are her 11 children, Mary Call and Dorothy (Fred) Rinehart, all of Columbus, Earl (Diane) Call of Winchester, Richard (Susan) Call and Linda Cornett, all of Groveport, Brenda (Dave) Robinson of Rutland; Larry Call of Crown City, Patricia Call and Connie (Chris) McNutt, all of Columbus, James (Kim) Call of Crown City, and Cindy Call of Columbus; 20 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; sister, Mable (George) Roush of Gallipolis; brother, John (Marty) Smith of Gallipolis; several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, her husband Earl Call, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Beverly Idle, two sons-in-law Paul Cornett and Bill Blackburn; two sisters Goldie Shriver and Mary Reeves and a brother Raymond Smith. Services will be 1:00 p.m., Sunday, January 23, 2011 at the Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Garland Montgomery officiating. Burial will follow in Old Mercerville Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday, January 22, 2011 from 6-8 p.m. Pallbearers will be Jordan Jones, Steven Call, Jonathan Call, Danny Cornett, Paul Cornett, Ricky Pryjda, Tommy Rinehart, Terry Call, Eddie Call, and Gary Call.
