Ralph A. Davis

Ralph A. Davis, 80 of Gallipolis, OH passed away on Friday, May 16, 2008 in Gallipolis. He was born December 5, 1927 in Sybial, WV the son of the late James Clarence and Bessie Jane Mullins Davis. Ralph was a process operator for Martin Marietta and was the owner operator of Davis Vacuum Cleaner Sew and Repair Shop He was a US Army Veteran having served as a combat medic in the Korean War. He was a member of the American Legion Post #888 of Delaware, Ohio. Surviving is his wife Loreda Nida Davis of Gallipolis, Daughters Deborah Mike Conkle of Cheshire, OH, Kimberly A. Davis and her husband Brett Myers of London OH, and Melissa Lee Booth of Gallipolis, OH. Grandchildren: Michelle Rob Gilmore, Heather Joey Edwards, Michael Melissa Conkle, Erica Blackburn, Courtney Blackburn, Tyler Blackburn, Ryan Davis Myers and Brandon Booth. Great Grandchildren: Ashley & Colton Gilmore, Michael & Matthew Conkle and Hayley Edwards. Step Grandchildren: Cody & Tiffany Booth and Mason Myers. Sister: Betty Roush of Clendenin, WV. He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers Howard Davis, Bill Davis, and Clyde Davis. Services will be at 2:00 pm Wednesday, May 21, 2008 at the Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Ron Hammond officiating. Burial will follow in the Ohio Valley Memory Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral Home from 12:00 until the time of service.
