Ralph Mitchell

Ralph Mitchell, age 83, passed away unexpectedly at the Four Winds Nursing Home in Jackson, Ohio. Ralph was born December 8, 1930 in Plain City, Ohio, son of the late Opal and Henry Mitchell. He served four years in the Air Force. He retired from AEP, after 45 years of service. Ralph was a member of the Gallipolis Christian Church. Ralph is survived by his loving, devoted wife of 38 ½ years, Rosalee Mitchell; a daughter, Lynn (Cris) Fisher; grandsons, Shane and Tony Fisher; his brother, Gene (Janice) Mitchell, a sister-in-law, Bette Mitchell; stepchildren, Deborah Shelton and Tony Weiher; stepgrandchildren, Clint Shelton, Lauren Shelton, Leah and Mya Weiher; one step great grandchild, Brock Shelton, along with nieces and great nephews. Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, Opal and Henry Mitchell, brother Bill and stepson Keith Burdette. At his request, there will be no calling hours or funeral service. Willis Funeral Home is handling the arrangements for the family.
