Ralph T. Robbins Sr., 89, of Gallipolis, passed away on Monday, November 28, 2011 at Holzer Medical Center. Ralph was born February 3, 1922 in Oak Dale, Tennessee, son of the late Nathaniel and Myrtle Neeley Robbins. He was married to Ruth Robbins and she preceded him in death on March 16, 2011. He was retired from Kaiser Aluminum and was a World War II U.S. Navy veteran. Surviving are his son, Ralph Rob Robbins Jr. of Gallipolis; his daughter, Kimberly Phelps of Gallipolis; two grandsons, Taylor Robbins and Joshua Robbins. In addition to his parents and his wife, Ruth, he was preceded in death by two brothers Lawrence and Leland Robbins. Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, December 1, 2011 at the Pine Street Cemetery with Pastor Alfred Holley officiating. There will be a military flag presentation at the graveside by volunteers of area veterans lodges. Cemetery: Pine Street Cemetery Visitation: There will be no visitation.
