Ray A. Hennen, Jr.

Ray A. Hennen Jr., 82, of Lecta, Ohio, passed away on Monday, June 30, 2014 at Arbors of Gallipolis. He was born May 15, 1932 at Huntington, West Virginia, son of the late Ray A. and Mabel Phillips Hennen Sr. Ray was a mechanic for Ashland Oil and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. Surviving are his wife, Mary Sargent Hennen of Lecta, Ohio; a daughter, Peggy (Rick) McKee of Willowwood, Ohio; one granddaughter, Jennifer (Bobby) Johnson; two great grandchildren, Austin T. Johnson and Jenna Lynn Johnson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Teddie Lee Hennen and a sister Mabel V. Fudge. Services will be 1:00 p.m., Thursday, July 3, 2014 at the Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Larry Casteel officiating. Burial will follow in Ohio Valley Memory Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. prior to the service. There will be a military flag presentation by veterans at the cemetery.
