Raymond L. Burton

Raymond L. Burton, 56, of Gallipolis, Ohio passed away on Monday, June 24, 2024 at Arbors at Gallipolis.

Born on January 9, 1968 in Youngstown, Ohio, Ray was the son of the late Brenda J. Hall Drummond and Darryl Drummond, who survives in Gallipolis.  Ray was a graduate of Gallia Academy High School and Buckeye Hills Career Center Class of 1986.  He was self-employed with Ray’s Wallpaper and Covering.  Ray was a member of Twin Rivers Congregation of Jehovah Witnesses in Gallipolis, Ohio.

Ray is survived by his father, Darryl Drummond of Gallipolis; sister, Connie Drummond Reed of Gallipolis; sister-in-law, Angee Burton of Pickerington, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews whom he loved.  In addition to his mother, Ray was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Burton.

The service for Ray will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 6, 2024 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses, 1820 Kessinger School Road, Jackson, Ohio 45640 with Mark Cohee officiating the service.
