Rhonda Duty

Rhonda Duty, 55, of Vinton, passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2014 at the Holzer Medical Center, after a short, but hard fought battle with cancer. She was born November 17, 1958 in Circleville, Ohio, daughter of the late Raymond Lee and Phyllis E. Long Withers. Rhonda was married to James Duty and he preceded her in death. She was a homemaker. Surviving are her daughter, Tia (Shaye) Bare of Patriot and son, Shawn M. (Janice) Duty of Gallipolis; two stepsons, James F. (Dee) Duty of Gallipolis and Kellis (Johnni Harper) Duty of New Haven, WV; two stepdaughters, Kathy (Terry) Adams and Angela (Willie) Lane, all of Gallipolis; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; one brother and three sisters; and her very good friend and roommate, Jeffrey S. Belcher of Vinton. In addition to her parents and husband, James Duty, Rhonda was preceded in death by a grandson, Raymond A. Stephens II. Graveside services will be 12:00 p.m., Thursday, January 23, 2014 at the Duty Family Cemetery on White Hollow Rd. Willis Funeral Home is assisting the family.
