Richard William Ferneding

Richard William Ferneding, 68, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2011 at the Holzer Medical Center, Gallipolis, Ohio. He was born October 14, 1942 in Cincinnati, son of the late George and Florence Fisher Ferneding. He was a retired township maintenance employee. He was known as Uncle Dick to many people. Surviving are his daughters, Angela (John Allen) Ferneding of Gallipolis, Ohio and Mary Jo (David Chuter) Ferneding of Chicago, Illinois; a grandson, Christopher Erwin of Port Clinton, Ohio; two brothers, Jack Ferneding and Jim Ferneding, both of Cincinnati, Ohio; and two sisters, Rosalie Rice of Harrison, Ohio and Joan Moore of Greenfield, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Larry Ferneding. At his request, cremation has taken place and there will be no services.
