Robert W. Keeton, 73, of Bidwell, passed away on Monday, June 4, 2007 at his residence. He was born on June 30, 1933 in Springfield, Ohio, son of the late William Venoris and Myrtle Nancy Hockenberry Keeton. Robert married Carol Ann Neville on November 3, 1975 and she survives him. He graduated from Springfield South High School. Robert was a Korean War veteran serving for three years in the U.S.A.F. He retired from Reliance Electric as a purchasing agent in 1995. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Surviving him are his wife, Carol Ann Keeton of Bidwell; nine children, Nancy K. Wallace Hammon of Dequincy, LA, Patricia Ann Keeton of Wells, NV, Alice J. Michael Albain of Dayton, Robert Keeton Paul of Bidwell, Sheri L. Tony Myers of Scottown, James F. Mullens III of Killeen, TX, Charles J. Kelly Mullens of Southside, WV, Stacey L. Mullens of Columbus and Ruth D. Keeton of Hilliard; seventeen grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; and one brother, Venoris Franklin Dorothy Keeton of Springfield. He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Mabel Kay Flint Keeton on January 25, 1963, a grandson, John Robert Johnson and a brother, Ray Chester Keeton. Services will be 11 a.m., Friday, June 8, 2007 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with President Derek Hollingsworth, Speaker Ken Vickers and Speaker Robert Painter officiating. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Clay Chapel Cemetery. Friends may call at the Willis Funeral Home on Thursday, June 7, 2007 from 6-8 p.m. Pallbearers will be Jesse Myers, Allen Joseph Keeton, Tony Myers, Victor Rudd, Andy Miller, and Derek Cemini. Honorary pallbearer will be Daltun Mullens.
