Robert S. Warren

Robert S. Warren, 77, of Bidwell, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2008 at the Scenic Hill Nursing Center after an extended illness. He was born on June 26, 1931 in Gallia County, Ohio, the son of the late Wye Wakefield and Garnet Lucy Waugh. He was a retired Telephone Company Lineman. Surviving is a daughter Betty Louise Wagner of Racine, OH.: one grandson: Ronald S. Wagner of Racine, OH and a sister Mable McQuaid of Gallipolis, and several Nieces and Nephews In addition to his parents Wye Wakefield and Garnet Lucy Warren, Bob was preceded in death by two brothers: Alfred L. 'Buck' Warren and James L. 'Bo' Warren; and his step father: Erie Phillips. Services will be at 1:00 pm., Tuesday, December 30, 2008 at the Willis Funeral Home, under the direction of the Rev. Larry Drummond. Burial will follow at the Centenary Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 12:00 pm until the time of service on Tuesday Pallbearers will be Kevin Lambert, Roger Buttrick, Larry Angel, Justin Lambert, Jerry Warren, and Terry Warren. Honorary pallbearer will be Jimmy McQuaid. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
