Ronald E. Casey, 66 of Gallipolis, passed away on Thursday, May 22, 2008 at the Holzer Medical Center. He was born June 17, 1941 in Gallia County, Ohio son of the late John and Gladys Ellen Haner Casey. He married Donna Alberta Mae Gothard and she preceded him in death in September, 1985. Ronald was a sanitation worker for the City of Upper Arlington, Ohio. Ronald attended Prospect Baptist Church. Surviving are four daughters, Anita Dennis Church of Bidwell and Ellen Marie Charles Baird, of Gallipolis, Lynn Roger Houck of Springfield, OH, and Susan Christine Jason Mullins of Gallipolis; one son, Michael Edward Casey of Gallipolis; nine grandchildren; Three sisters, Alma Geraldine Mayes of Gallipolis, Sylvia Jean Robert Green of Pataskala and Clara 'Corky' John Ramey of Kenova, WV; two brothers, Gary Eugene Jean Casey of Pataskala and James Wesley Connie Casey of Middleport; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and his wife, Donna, he was also preceded by a son Jeff in infancy, and a granddaughter Allison; three sisters, Nellie Casey, Irene Walker, and Grace Rudd; two brothers, Robert Lincoln Casey and Thomas Raymond Casey. Services will be 1 pm Tuesday, May 27, 2008 at Willis Funeral Home with Pastors Alfred Holley and Daisy Tabor burial will follow in Pine Street Cemetery.
