Ronald Harrison Hager, 81, of Gallipolis, Ohio passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2012 at his residence. He was born on September 24, 1930 in Lincoln County, West Virginia, son of the late Perry and Ellen Perdue Hager. Ronald was an overhead crane operator working out of Teamsters Local 73 Cleveland, Ohio. He enjoyed fishing and gambling. Ronald was married to Pearl Osborne Hager and she preceded him in death on November 6, 2002. He was also preceded in death by his parents and by two sisters Ella Mae Hatcher and Dorothy Parson. He is survived by his sons Ronald (Dolly) Hager, Jr. of Gallipolis, Wayne (Sheila) Hager of Branchland, WV, Jack Hager of Gallipolis, Rick (Mickey) Hager of Cambridge, Ohio, Terry Hager of Gallipolis, Donald (Valerie) Brown of Crestview, FL, and Brian Brown of Gallipolis, one daughter Donna (Andy) Brock of Carterville, Georgia.; 16 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and 1 great great granddaughter. He is also survived by one brother Butch (Lydia) Hager of Handover, Ohio, two sisters Edith Dean of Branchland, WV, and Carolyn (Albert) May of Wooster, Ohio. Ronald is also survived by his former wife Junie Conley of Gallipolis. Anyone that really knew Ronald Hager, knows that he lived his life the way he wanted it to be. He will be missed greatly. Funeral services will be 1 pm Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Troy Delaney officiating. Burial will follow in Centenary Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday, February 14, 2012 from 6-8 pm at Willis Funeral Home.
