Ronald Gene Plants

Ronald Gene Plants, 59, Pt. Pleasant, West Virginia, passed away on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at his residence. He was born on September 5, 1959 in Gallipolis, Ohio, son of Gene Plants of Gallipolis, and Barbara Swisher Plants of Pt. Pleasant, West Virginia. Ron was a dry wall finisher and had worked at Gene Plants Plumbing and Heating. He was an U.S. Army Veteran. He is a member of the American Legion Post #23 in Pt. Pleasant. He was a 1977 graduate of North Gallia High School. In addition to his parents, Ron is survived by his girlfriend Edith Clemente of Pt. Pleasant, two sisters LaDonna (Richard) Stephenson of Cheshire, Tammy (Scott) Robinson of Gallipolis; one brother James E. Plants, (Delsa) of Gallipolis; his care-giver, Tonya McKeever of Pt. Pleasant, and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. The funeral service for Ron will be 1 pm Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Alfred Holley officiating. His burial will follow in Gravel Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12-1 pm at the funeral home prior the service. Military rites will be given by Post #23 at the graveside.
