Ronald J. Trainor

Ronald J. Trainor, 60, of Gallipolis, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at Holzer Medical Center. Born on September 2, 1960 in Mobile, Alabama, Ron was the son of the late Joseph A. and Lula Elizabeth Langley Trainor. Ron was a self-employed graphic designer. Ron is survived by his wife, Darlene Morock of Gallipolis; children, Christy Trainor Blackwell of Nashville Tennessee, Angela Franklin of Nashville, Joseph A. Trainor II of Ft. Myers, Florida, and Belynda Trainor of Ft. Myers; step son, Eddie Frye, Jr. of Gallipolis; grandchildren, Jacob Trainor, Christian Blackwell, Joseph Anthony Trainor III, Trinity Frye, and Zane Frye; sister Mary Elizabeth Chimahusky and a brother Noel Clarke. In addition to his parents, Ron was preceded in death by his brother, Samuel Trainor. Services for Ron will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 1, 2020 at Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Clyde Ferrell officiating. Friends may call prior to the service Thursday from 12:00-1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Those in attendance are asked to follow CDC guidelines and Ohio mandates of practicing social distancing and wearing face masks.
