Rosa Caballero

Rosa Caballero, 81, of Crown City, passed away on Tuesday, December 1, 2009 at her residence. She was born December 21, 1927 in Cuba, daughter of the late Elipi Fuente and Maria Teresa Caballero. Rosa was of the Baptist faith and a homemaker. Surviving are her five daughters, Elena Mike Connett, Estrella Maurelo, Mayra Caballero, all of Crown City, Migdalia Maurelo and Elisa Maurelo, both of Miami, Florida; one son, Antonie Maurelo of Miami, Florida; grandchildren, Kathy Corrales, Yari Corrales, Michelle Rife, Jason Connett, Hannah Marin, Caleb Marin; sixteen brothers and sisters. Services will be 7 p.m., Friday, December 4, 2009 at the Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Randy Carnes officiating. Friends may call from 6-7 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. A private graveside service will be held on Saturday at Providence Cemetery.
