Rosalie F. Beaver

Rosalie F. Beaver, 76, of Gallipolis, Ohio passed away on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at her residence. Born on October 4, 1944 in Gallia County, Ohio, Rosalie was the daughter of the late Clarence and Lucy Cox Halley. On May 23, 1964, Rosalie married James A. “Petie” Beaver, who survives her in Gallipolis. Rosalie was a homemaker; she loved planting flowers, gardening, shopping, and spending time with her family. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Rosalie is survived by her husband, James A. “Petie” Beaver of Gallipolis; daughter, Janice (Marc) Grace of Gallipolis; sons, James Allen (Stephanie) Beaver, Jr. of Gallipolis and Chris (Angie) Beaver of Stoutsville, Ohio; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; sisters, Patricia (Ivan) Beaver of Gallipolis, Karen Siders of Gallipolis, Arlene Leach of Gallipolis, and Christine Montgomery of Crown City, Ohio; and brother, Jimmy Halley of Gallipolis. In addition to her parents, Rosalie was preceded in death by a son, Christopher Lee Beaver; sisters, Lula Mae Green, Mary Fitzpatrick, Jeanie Shaver, and Ruth Halley; and brothers, Everett Halley, Franklin Halley, and Paul Halley. A funeral service for Rosalie will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at Willis Funeral Home with David Beaver officiating. Burial will follow in Ohio Valley Memory Gardens.
