Roy E. Dailey

Roy E. Dailey, 89, of Gallipolis, Ohio passed away on Friday, August 9, 2024 at Holzer Medical Center.  Roy was born on July 17, 1935 in Marietta, Ohio, son of the late Pearl and Nellie Worstel Dailey.

Roy was retired from Ravenswood Aluminum Plant and had also worked at Vepco Power and Gavin Power Plant.  He was a graduate of Marietta High School.  Roy served in the U.S. Air Force and was a member of V.F.W. Post 4464; he enjoyed watching football, gardening, and hunting when he was younger.

Roy was married to Janet L. Snyder Dailey; and she survives him in Gallipolis, Ohio.  He is also survived by three daughters, Diane Martin (Richard Seiler) of Cincinnati, Ohio, Krista Johnson of Gallipolis, Ohio, and Alissa (Roy) See of West Point, Virginia; four grandchildren, Aaron Johnson (Rachyl Guthart), Brandon (Amanda) Johnson, Dustin See (Bridget Minner), and Courtney (Travis) Lauderman; great grandchildren, Meka, Luke, Remington, Abby, Nevaeh, Bailey, Gabriel, Levi, and Madelyn; one sister, Kathryn (Gene) Weihl of Marietta, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.  Roy was preceded in death by several siblings.

Services will be at the convenience of the family.
