Roy J. Miller

Roy J. Miller, 69, of Patriot Oh, died on Thursday, Dec 3, 2009 at his residence after an extended illness. He was born on June 4, 1940 to the late Jonas and Mattie A. Weaver Miller. On October 12, 1961 he married Susan O. Keim, daughter of the late Oren D. and Fannie Wengerd Keim and she survives him. He was a cabinet maker and a Deacon of the Old Order Amish Church. Surviving are his wife Susan, eleven children, Fannie Abe Yoder of Fredericktown, Martha Dan Yoder of Patriot, Mary Roman Yoder, Rebecca Aden Shrock, Clara Wayne Miller, Esther Enos Wengerd all of Fredericktown, Ruth David Troyer of Patriot, Andrew Emma Miller of Orrville, Sarah Roman Raber of the home, Roy Jr. Verna Yoder of Patriot, Katie Monroe Yoder of Oak Hill; 75 Grandchildren; 7 Great Grandchildren; three brothers, Andy Clara of Fredericksburg, Mike Katie of Dundee and David Katie of Fredericksburg; four sisters, Anna Miller of Millersburg, Ella Chriss Kauffman of Hillsboro, Susan Abe Yoder of Dundee, Fannie of Millersburg. Preceding him in death are his parents, one brother and a stillborn brother. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 6, 2009 at the residence with Bishop Dan Miller officiating.
