Ruth Baker Brown

Ruth Baker Brown, 67, of Bidwell, passed away on Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at her residence. She was born on February 13, 1941 in Bloomingville, Ohio to the late Marion and Daisey Baker. She is survived by a daughter Wanda VanMeter of Fairborn, Ohio and two sons William VanMeter and James VanMeter both of Fairborn, Ohio and Richard West of Bidwell, 13 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren; two brothers, David Baker of Arizona and Marion Baker, Jr. of Laurelville, Ohio; three sisters Lucy Pize of Arizona, Betty Smith of Columbus, Ohio and Shirley Baker of Carroll, Ohio. She was preceded in death by a son Rodger Lee VanMeter, a daughter, Patty VanMeter and a grandson James Leroy Hammon, Jr. There will not be any calling hours, services will be later at the convenience of the family.
