Ruth Ann Sims

Ruth Ann Sims, 72, of Gallipolis, Ohio passed away on Monday, March 16, 2020 at Holzer Senior Care. Born April 14, 1947 in Gallia County, Ohio, Ruth was the daughter of the late Norma J. Evans Sims and Herman Sims, Jr. Ruth was also preceded in death by her husband, Sherman Parsons. She attended Bulaville Christian Church. Ruth is survived by her sister, Mrs. Larry K. Elaine Sims Johnson of Gallipolis; brothers, William “Bill” and Mary Hout Sims of Mt Juliet, Tennessee, Thomas “Tom” and Barbara Dixon Sims of Bidwell, Ohio, and Kevin L. Sims of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; and several nieces, nephews, and friends. In accordance with Ruth’s requests, there will be no services. Burial will be at Victory Cemetery in Crown City, Ohio.
