Ruth A. Warren Stapleton, 85, of Gallipolis, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at Pleasant Valley Hospital due to complications from covid. Ruth was preceded in death by her first husband, Forrest L. Warren on June 18, 2011; parents, Charles and Edith (Burgess) Turley; and sister, Debbie Paden. Ruth is survived by her second husband, William (Bill) Stapleton; son, Brad (Becky) Warren; grandson, Allen (Devora) Curnutte; great grandson, Oscar Curnutte; very special friends, Joann (Lee) Hoffman; brothers, Meredith (Sue) Turley and Bernard (Sue) Turley; sisters, Minnie Swan and Joyce Watson; and step children, Steve (Sally) Stapleton, Beverly (Steve) Wray, and Betsy (Kevin) Grooms. She is also survived by many step grandchildren, step great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, and special friends from Kings Chapel Church where she was a faithful member for many years. Graveside services will be held on Sunday, January 3, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Swan Creek Cemetery in Crown City, Ohio with Pastor Clyde Ferrell and close friend Lee Hoffman officiating. Ruth was a devout Christian lady who loved to share the love of God with everyone she could. She was a true Saint who will be sadly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
