Shari L. Facemire

Shari L. Facemire, 54, of Gallipolis, Ohio passed away on Friday, September 3, 2021 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Born on August 14, 1967 in Gallipolis, Ohio, Shari was the daughter of the late Benny Wallis and Sharon Lane Newell, who survives her in Wellston. Shari married Paul E. Facemire, who survives her in Gallipolis. She was a former dispatcher for Republic Trash Service in Huntington, West Virginia. Shari earned an Associate Degree from Gallipolis Business College. She was a member of Macedonia Church. Shari loved her dogs, Dixie and Klio. Shari is survived by her husband, Paul E. Facemire of Gallipolis; daughter, Kayla Facemire of Gallipolis; stepson, Doug (Karen) Facemire of Chillicothe; sister, Leslie (Glenn) Watterson of Point Pleasant, West Virginia; nieces, Jennifer and Sarah Watterson; and step grandchildren, Stephanie and Byron. The funeral service for Shari will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, September 10, 2021 at Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Leland “Bud” Allman officiating. Burial will follow in Mina Chapel Cemetery. Friends may call prior to the service Friday from 12:00-1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Those in attendance are encouraged to wear face masks and practice social distancing.
