Sheila Lynn Springer

Sheila Lynn Springer, 67, of Springfield, Ohio, formerly of Gallipolis, Ohio, passed away on Friday, December 24, 2021 at Springfield Regional Medical Center in Springfield, Ohio due to complications from Covid-19. She was born on August 2, 1954 in Gallipolis, Ohio. Sheila was the daughter of the late Thomas Lewis and Beatrice Irene Banks Springer of Gallipolis, Ohio. Sheila graduated from Kyger Creek High School and worked for Robbins & Meyers/Electrocraft for 36 years before retiring. She is survived by her daughter, Kim Springer (Jason Henry) of Springfield, Ohio; sisters, Donna Ella (Merrill) George of Bidwell, Jeanette Springer (Donald Leasure) of Gallipolis, and Virginia (Bill) Gardner of Gallipolis; her brother, Thomas (Wendy) Springer, Jr. of Miami, Florida; her brother-in-law, Jim White of Lancaster, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Sheila was preceded in death by her companion of 35 years, Robert E. McCausland, Jr. in 2010 and her sister, Sherry White in 2020. Due to her passing being Covid-related and at a complex time for us all, it saddens us; but our wishes are to continue without a service.
