Shirley Ann Mcmasters

Shirley Ann Hineman McMasters, 83, of Mt. Gilead, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 12, 2022. Shirley was born on May 12, 1938 in Mercerville, Ohio to the late Clarence and Marie Unroe Hineman. In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by a brother, Norvin (Ila) Hineman; brothers-in-law, Ralph (Gracia) McMasters, Harold (Catherine) McMasters, and Bernard (Rosalee) McMasters; and sisters-in-law, Shirley McMasters, Leona (Bob) Grimm, and Violet McMasters. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Bud McMasters; son, Steve (Debbie) McMasters of Hilliard, Ohio; sister-in-law, Wilmagen McMasters; and extended family. Shirley worked in Columbus for the State of Ohio Department of Education and Workers Comp for 36 years. While working for the Department of Education, she personally delivered the check that would fund the building of Hannan Trace High School. Shirley attended Harmony Chapel United Methodist Church in Mt.Gilead, Ohio. She enjoyed selling Tiara Glassware, reading, camping, attending church, and butterflies. The funeral service for Shirley will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 16, 2022 at Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Alfred Holley officiating. Burial will follow in Ridgelawn Cemetery.
