Susan Lynn Elliott-Ludy, 50, of Winston-Salem, NC, formerly of Gallia County, died on Friday, March 23, 2012 at Wake Forest Baptist Health Center in Winston-Salem, NC. She was born on August 2, 1961 in Gallipolis, Ohio daughter of Glendon and Patricia Johnson Elliott who survive in Gallipolis. Susan was a flight attendant for Compass Airlines and enjoyed gardening, the outdoors, and playing the piano. She was a member of the Thurman United Methodist Church. Susan is survived by her children a daughter Sarah (Chad) Frazier of Gallipolis, two sons David (Bethany) Stanley of Chillicothe, Ohio, and Jason (Christina) Franks of Fleming, Ohio; six grandchildren Ellen, Gracie, Ashton, Alice, Aubree, and Macy; one brother Scott Elliott, and one sister Kelli Elliott both of Gallipolis, one niece Kaleah; and special friends Phany “Jay” Watson and Wanda Trimmer, both of North Carolina. She was preceded in death by grandparents, Arthur and Josephine Elliott and James and Marjorie Johnson. Funeral services will be 1 pm Thursday, March 29, 2012 at the Thurman United Methodist Church, 205 Broad Street, Thurman, Ohio with Pastor Dan Lamphier officiating. Burial will follow in the CM Cemetery in Oak Hill. Friends may call on Wednesday, March 28, 2012 from 6-8 pm at Willis Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Mike Fortner, Eddie Lamphier, Ryan Cisco and Jimmy Johnson. Honorary pallbearers will be Ashton Franks and Scott Elliott.
