Susan G. Gust

Susan G. Gust, 82, of Gallipolis, Ohio passed away on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at Holzer Medical Center after a long illness. She was born on February 13, 1939 in Clairton, Pennsylvania to Edward and Charlotte Sander Fagan. Susan’s contagious smile and outgoing personality made her many wonderful friends over the years. She was a devoted member of St. Louis Catholic Church where her faith made her a strong lady. Susan enjoyed traveling with her husband and many girl trips with her daughter, Melanee. She also enjoyed reading, shopping, playing canasta and volunteering at the hospital. Susan was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Gerard “Jerry” Gust in 2005. Susan is survived by her daughter Melanee Turner (Kim) of Richmond, IN, grandsons, Corey Turner (Jana) of Thompson’s Station, TN, Craig Turner (Tiffany) of Brentwood, TN, three great grandchildren, Colton Turner, Quinn Turner and Elliott Turner. A memorial Mass will be 10:30 am Monday, May 10, 2021 at St. Louis Catholic Church with Father Tom Hamm officiating. Interment will follow in St. Louis Catholic Cemetery. Those in attendance are asked to follow the CDC guidelines of social distancing and the Ohio mandate of wearing face masks.
