Sylvia R. Hutchison

Sylvia R. Hutchison, 92, of Gallipolis, passed away on Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at Holzer Medical Center. She was born November 22, 1918 in Mason, West Virginia, daughter of the late Harry Ivan and Mabel Hall Roush. She was married to Robert W. Hutchison and he preceded her in death in 1961. She was a retired salesperson. Surviving are her sisters, Phyllis (Charles) Knighting of Bidwell, Betty Johnson of Racine, Dorothy Kearns of Belpre; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert W. Hutchison, her son William Clay Hutchison in 2002, a brother, Harry Harold Roush, and three sisters, Gladys Counts, Iva Mae Allen and Geraldine Cleland. Services will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, August 13, 2011 at the Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Alfred Holley officiating. Friends may call from 12- 1 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Columbus, Ohio.
