Sylvia M. Watts

Sylvia M. Watts, 75, of Gallipolis, passed away on Sunday, January 13, 2008 at her daughters residence in Creola, Ohio. She was born on December 12, 1932 in Pikeville, Kentucky, daughter of the late Henry and Fannie Bevins Burchett. She was married to Kenneth Watts and he preceded her in death. Sylvia was a homemaker and member of the Regular Baptist Church. Surviving are two sons, William Osborne of Ypsilanti, MI and Don Osborne of Speedwell, TN; two daughters, Anita Bryan of Jacksonville, FL and Vicki DeBusk of Creola, OH; fourteen grandchildren; three step grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; two step great grandchildren; ten sisters, Madeline Waugh of Columbus, Gladys Spencer of Rio Grande, June Osborne of Hazel Park, MI, JoAnn Chavis of San Bernadino, CA, Rose Hill of Arkansas, Jean Spencer of Gallipolis, Janet Silver of Rio Grande, Emmalou Scalf of Warren, MI, Geraldine Pat Waugh of Rio Grande, and Bonnie Jordan of Rio Grande; and one brother, Bill Burchett of Arizona. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Kenneth Watts, two granddaughters, Dawn Renee Osborne and Jennifer Lynn Osborne, and a sister, Adale Burchett. Services will be 1:00 p.m., Thursday, January 17, 2008 at the Willis Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Mound Hill Cemetery.
