Tabitha "Tabby" Somerville

Tabitha “Tabby” Somerville, 43, of Bidwell, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at Holzer Medical Center.

Born on November 21, 1979 in Gallipolis, Ohio, Tabby was the daughter of David Somerville and Louise Baird Woodall. Tabby was a graduate of Gallia Academy High School and Buckeye Hills Career Center Class of 1998 and a member of Oasis Christian Tabernacle. She enjoyed fishing, bowling, and coloring; Tabby was an animal lover.

Tabby is survived by her children, Savannah Halfhill (Sean Messina) of Columbus, Ohio, Samantha Halfhill (Trey Belcher) of South Point, Ohio, Wyatt Halfhill of Bidwell, and Gracie Halfhill of Bidwell; grandson, Sawyer Myrin Belcher of South Point, Ohio; mother, Louise Woodall of Gallipolis, Ohio; father, David (Diana) Somerville of Thurman, Ohio; siblings, Chris (Elaine) Somerville of Gallipolis, Joe “Skeeter" (Veronica) Woodall of Gallipolis, Shelly (Bud) Clonch of Gallipolis, Andrea (Adam) Lee of Gallipolis, Micah Gardner (Brett Hancock) of Ironton, Ohio, and Travis (Heather) Frasher of Columbus, Ohio; several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews; a host of friends; and special friend, Jason Johnson of Gallipolis.

Preceding Tabby in death were her stepfather, Joe Woodall and her brother, George Woodward.

A Celebration of Life for Tabby will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Joseph Woodall and Pastor J.R. Vance officiating. Friends may call on Saturday from 2:00-3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
