Terry J. Neal

Terry J. Neal, 83, of Gallipolis, Ohio, formerly of Crown City, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, December 14, 2024 in Arbors at Gallipolis.  Terry was born on May 18, 1941 in Gallia County, Ohio, son of the late Gwendolyn Ailene Gothard Neal and Paul Neal.

Terry was a retired boilermaker with Westinghouse.  He was a former golfing teacher with the Professional Golf Association (PGA).  Terry was a member of the Ohio Valley Masonic Lodge #536, where he was 50 plus year member.  He enjoyed woodworking and was a graduate of Mercerville High School.

Terry was married to Frances Sanders Neal, and she preceded him in death in 2007.  In addition to his parents and wife, Terry was preceded in death by a son, Terry Randall Neal in 2020 and by a brother, Dave Bradley.  He is survived by two daughters, Patti Haig (Dave) and Peggy Saunders (Dennis) of Mercerville; daughter-in-law, Jodi Neal of Newark, Ohio; two grandsons, Ricky Watson (Kristin) and Parker Watson; two great grandchildren, Morgan and Makena Watson; two brothers, Tom Neal (Linda) of McArthur, Ohio and Tom Bradley (Kathy) of Heath, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.

A Masonic Service for Terry will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 21, 2024 at Willis Funeral Home; a funeral service will follow with Pastor Randy Thompson officiating.  His burial will follow in Sanders Cemetery #2 in Lawrence County, Ohio.  Friends may call prior the service on Saturday at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
