Thomas R. Hornsby

Thomas R. Hornsby, 69, Milford, Ohio formerly of Gallipolis, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 19, 2007 at the Clermont Nursing Care Center in Milford. Thomas was born on July 24, 1937 in Hugheston, West Virginia to the late Shirley E. Dobbins Hornsby and Eugene A. Hornsby, Sr. Thomas was a former employee of the Hercules Box Company in Columbus and also served as a missionary. Thomas also was an US Army Veteran. He is survived by three brothers, Bill Freda Hornsby of Columbus, John Harvey Hornsby and Eugene A. Hornsby, Jr., both of Gallipolis, one niece Violet Gardner and three nephews, John T. Hornsby, Mark Robert Hornsby and Steve Hornsby all of Gallipolis. He was preceded in death by his parents, Shirley and Eugene A. Hornsby, Sr., and a brother Donald R. Hornsby. Funeral services will be 1 pm Tuesday, April 24, 2007 at Willis Funeral Home with Rev. Alfred Holley officiating. Burial will follow in Old Mercerville Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday from noon until the time of services at Willis Funeral Home. There will be a flag presentation at the cemetery by volunteers of area veteran lodges.
