Tiana K. Adams

Tiana “T-Bird” Karen Adams “Reed”, 31, of Gallipolis passed away at her residence on December 1, 2022.

Born on May 6, 1991 in Fort Morgan, Colorado, Tiana was the daughter of Kenneth Hanks and Terri Trout, but she was raised by her adoptive parents Carl Lee Wray and Crystal Elaine Reed. Tiana was a graduate of Gallia Academy High School and spent most of her adult career working in nursing homes as a State Tested Nursing Assistant.

Tiana was loved by many including her eight year old son, AdamWayne Donald Adams Jr. Tiana loved to draw, listen to music, and write poetry.

Tiana is survived by her son, Adam Adams Jr. of Gallipolis, Ohio; her biological father, Kenneth Hanks of Ogden, Kansas; her biological mother, Terri Trout of Colorado; and her adopted mother, Crystal Reed of Bidwell, Ohio.

Tiana is also survived by her many sisters, Juanita “J-Bird” Wray (Jack White) of Wellston, Ohio, Inez “Nezzie” Pankoke (Brenton) of Oakland, Nebraska, Amanda Tomanek (Devon Laws) of San Marcos, California, Chelsea Weese (Josh) of Manhattan, Kansas, Holly Hanks Espinoza (Noé) of San Diego, California, Emily Hanks of Ogden, Kansas, Alice Trout of Springboro, Ohio, April Wray (Dirk Bartrum) of Crown City, Ohio, Darthy “Dottie” Wray of Springfield, Ohio, and Teresa Lynn Mathis (James) of Kentucky and her brothers, Bryce Hanks (Danori Green) of Salina, Kansas, James Trout and Randy Paul of Colorado, Dennis Simons of Nebraska, and Charles Wray (Dianna) of Jackson, Ohio. She was also survived my many nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.

Preceding Tiana in death were her Adopted Father, Carl Lee “Punk” Wray; her grandfather, Lester Raymond “Chubby” Hanks; her grandmother, Ella Mae Kemp; and her uncle, Joseph “Rabbit” Shephard.

The family will be holding a Candlelight Vigil at 5:00 p.m. on December 16, 2022 at Gallia County Fairgrounds.  In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations toward expenses. Donations can be made to Willis Funeral Home.
