Timothy Douglas Meadows, 56, of Gallipolis, Ohio passed away after a long battle with cancer at Holzer Medical Center, surrounded by his family on Sunday, August 28, 2022.

Timothy was born on April 25, 1966 in Gallipolis, Ohio, son of the late Doug and Ann Meadows.

Timothy is survived by his wife, Jennifer Meadows of Gallipolis; two children, Olivia Meadows of Gallipolis and Trenton Meadows of Gallipolis; sister, Ellen Riffle of Gallipolis; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ron and Sonja Kisner of Gallipolis; sisters-in-law, Kelly (Jim) McMahan of Bluffton, South Carolina  and Tina (Mike) Smith of Gallipolis; brother-in-law, Scott (Andra) Kisner of Columbus, Ohio; special brother/friend, Pat Tackett of Gallipolis; nieces, Cari (Alex) Schuler of Gallipolis and Emma Kisner and Kate Kisner of Columbus; nephews, Cody (Rhiannon) Riffle of Gallipolis, Mason Smith of Gallipolis, and Tyler McMahan of Bluffton, South Carolina; great niece, Clair Riffle of Gallipolis; great nephew, Warren Riffle of Gallipolis; and so many cousins, aunts, and uncles.

In addition to his parents, Doug and Ann Meadows, Tim was preceded in death by his good friend and brother-in-law, Mark Riffle.

Tim, also known as “Toolman,” spent the majority of his working years at Kyger Creek Power Plant, where they became not just co-workers, but family.  Tim had a special place in his hearts for his brothers and sisters at Kyger Creek.

Tim had a nurturing and loving soul, which cannot be mimicked or replaced.  He enjoyed every second he had to spend with his family and friends.  In his free time, Tim loved to watch football - Gallia Academy Blue Devils, The Ohio State Buckeyes, The Cowboys, tennis, and any sporting events that he was able to attend especially when his children were on the field or on the court.  Tim also loved hunting, reading, history programs, watching movies, and making memories with his wife and children.

The funeral service for Tim will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 3, 2022 at Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Randy Carnes officiating.  Friends may call on Friday, September 2, 2022 at the funeral home from 4:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m.  Following the calling hours Friday, there will be a Masonic service held by the Morning Dawn Lodge #7 at 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, an account has been established at Ohio Valley Bank for college education for Tim’s children, Olivia and Trent Meadows.  Finding ways to support his children was Tim’s top priority.
