Timothy S. Stanley, 48, of Vinton, passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2011 at the Holzer Medical Center Emergency Room. He was born August 26, 1963 in Gallipolis, Ohio, son of the late Clinton E. Ed Stanley and Doris Ann Caldwell Porter, who survives him. He was employed at Constellium, formerly Ravenswood Aluminum. He was a 1982 graduate of Hannan Trace High School/ Buckeye Hills Career Center. He attended Vinton Baptist Church. Timothy was a pilot and had built his own airplane and also enjoyed restoring GTOs. He is survived by his son, Jordan Timothy Stanley of Vinton; his mother Doris Ann (Gary Yasko) Porter of Gallipolis; his brother, Carey (Gwytha Simms) Stanley of Crown City; a sister, Nora (Isaac) Hively Jr. of Gallipolis; niece and nephews, Missy Sansom of Sod, West Virginia, Isaac Hively III and Levi Hively, both of Gallipolis; stepchildren, Morgan Anderson and Brittny Anderson of Kansas and a step granddaughter, KayLynn Anderson; stepsisters, Debra (Benny) Clary of Rock, West Virginia, Susan (Alvin) Magcale of Union City, California, Candace Porter (Fred) Provencio of Monrovia, California; stepbrother, Mark Porter of Clarence, New York; stepmother, Patsy Stanley of Gallipolis; stepsisters, Joyce (Doyle) McDonald of Bidwell and Bev (Chris) Sullivan of Patriot; stepbrother, Bill Bennett of Chillicothe; special friend, Debbie (Roger) Gilbert of Bidwell; and several step nieces, step nephews and a host of friends. In addition to his father, Timothy was preceded in death by a stepbrother Brian Porter and a stepfather Clyde Porter. Services will be 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at the Willis Funeral Home with Rev. Chester Hess officiating. Burial will follow in Ridgelawn Cemetery.
