Tommy G. Winborne

Tommy Glen Winborne, 72, of Gallipolis, Ohio passed away on Sunday, February 13, 2022 at Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. Born on December 2, 1949 in Pampa, Texas, Tommy was the son of the late Jake and Yvonne Winborne. Tommy earned a Masters Degree from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas. He was an educator and counselor for middle school students. Tommy was also a traditional bow maker. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church and Elks Lodge #107; Tommy was also a member and officer of the Gallipolis Boat Club. Tommy enjoyed golfing and boating. Tommy is survived by his life partner, Sue of Gallipolis; son, Brent J. Winborne of Corpus Christi, Texas; brother, Barry (Donna) Winborne of Grand Prairie, Texas; aunt, Wanda Passmore of Pampa, Texas; and special friend, Velma Rue of Middleport, Ohio. The funeral service for Tommy will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, February 21, 2022 at Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Alfred Holley officiating. Burial will follow in Mound Hill Cemetery.
