Tony Lee Johnson, 37, of Gallipolis, passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2010 at Holzer Medical Center. He was born August 3, 1972 in Gallipolis, son of the late Oshel Patterson Sr. and Ruth White Willitt and she survives him. He enjoyed his family, his dogs and was a Steelers fan. Tony will be sadly missed by his family and friends. Surviving are his wife, Candi L. Oiler Johnson of Utica; his children, Christopher, David and Briesha, all of Utica; his mother, Ruth Willitt of Gallipolis; his sisters, Diana Swisher, Judy Long and Vickie Long, all of Gallipolis; his brothers, Johnny Johnson, Terry Johnson, Bruce Johnson, all of Gallipolis; his stepmother, Betty Patterson of Gallipolis; his brothers and sisters, James Patterson, Oshel Patterson, Walter Patterson, Johnny Patterson, Larry Patterson, Rick Patterson, Lonnie Patterson, Robert Patterson, Kathleen White, Karen Mullins, Sandra Willitt, Esther Patterson and Patricia Patterson, from the Gallipolis and Point Pleasant areas; several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father Oshel Patterson Sr., grandmothers Irene White and Goldie Patterson, a niece Lori Smith and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Services were held Friday, February 19, 2010 at the Willis Funeral Home with Chaplain Fred Williams officiating. Burial followed in Mound Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers were David Johnson, Bruce Johnson Jr., Max Snider, Stephen Snider, Jerry Johnson, and Michael Long. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Tony's memory to help with expenses to Willis Funeral Home, P.O. Box 806, Gallipolis, OH 45631.
