Vera Frances Blake

Vera Frances Blake, 72, of Gallipolis, Ohio passed away on Monday, May 11, 2020 at Cornerstone Hospital in Huntington, West Virginia. Born on May 18, 1947 in Gallia County, Ohio, Vera was the daughter of the late Lloyd O. and Vivian Mason Blake. In addition to her parents, Vera was preceded in death by several aunts and uncles, Lillian Blake Wolford, Lulu Blake, Lester Blake, Leo Blake, Peggy Mason Patterson Coulson, Claudetta Mason Sayre, and Doug Mason. Vera is survived by her aunt, Louise Blake Queen of Canal Winchester, Ohio; uncle, Harry Dean Mason of Gallipolis; numerous cousins; and special friends, Jennie Kingery of Gallipolis and John Bates of Gallipolis. A graveside service for Vera will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 15, 2020 in Ohio Valley Memory Gardens with Pastor Alfred Holley officiating.
