Vickie A. Long

Vickie A. Long, 44, of Gallipolis, Ohio passed away on Sunday, January 08, 2012. She was born on March 4, 1967 in Gallipolis, daughter of the late Bill Siders and Ruth White Willitt. She had attended Bell Chapel Church. Vickie was married to Mike Long and he survives and from this union her children survive, sons, Michael (Marie) Long, Randy (Jennifer Miller) Longand Timmy (Nicole) Long all of Gallipolis, and a daughter Sandy (Glenn Chick) Long of Gallipolis; eight grandchildren, Jacob Harper, Makayla Long, Carlito Long, Lori Chick, Glenn Chick III, Mason Long, Morgan Long and Timothy Long, Jr.; her mother Ruth Willitt of Gallipolis; sisters Diana Swisher and Judy Long both of Gallipolis; brothers, Johnny, Terry and Bruce Johnson all of Gallipolis; half-sisters Virginia (Jack) Large of Pomeroy, Irene Martin of Pt. Pleasant; half-brothers Virgil (Joan) Patterson and Tommy (Alberta) Patterson both of Pt. Pleasant, William Siders, Jr. and Gary (Lynn) Siders both of Gallipolis; several nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her father Bill Siders, her grandmother Irene White, a brother Tony Johnson and a niece Lori Smith. Services will be 1 pm Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at Willis Funeral Home with Rev. Alfred Holley officiating. Burial will follow in Mound Hill Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday from noon until the time of the services at Willis Funeral Home.
